MINDPROBE [REPLUGGED] (VPDDA-008) is a remastered re-release of the pioneering Finnish techno act Corporate 09. Back in 1991 Mindprobe was the first Finnish techno / techno house album and initially it was issued by Castle Communications both on CD and MC.

Besides remastered original tracks, the digital album includes three bonus tracks, two of them remixed by Corporate 09 in 1991-1992 and the third one is an alternative recording of the last track.

All tracks written by Groen (Pertti Grönholm) and E. Dog (Mika Vainio) except tracks 4, 5, 6, 11, 13 and 15 which were composed by Groen. All tracks were arranged and mixed by Corporate 09 and recorded at Brainstorm Studio, Turku Finland in August 1991. Remastered in 2015 and 2019 by Pertti Grönholm for Valimo Productions. Corporate 09 took shape in early 1991 when Pertti Grönholm and Mika Vainio produced several EBM, industrial and house influenced techno tracks for warehouse parties and clubs.

Since 1992 Corporate 09 has been a solo project of Grönholm. The musical style of Corporate 09 has evolved from EBM driven techno towards the wider soundscapes of ambient and IDM. ... more
